Make up tutorial #1

Make up tutorial #1
that`s me all non made up :3
and this is the make up pallet that I`ll be using along with pearl minerall foundation power from physicians formula and the famous green and pink mascara.
this is after I put on my foundation. I personally really love the pearl foundation because it gives you an amazing glow. I also lightly swept a light glittery brown over my top and bottom lids, then I put a light shimmery nude under my eye brows and on my inner corner.
then take a darker matte brown and sweep it in a C shape in the outter crease of you eye. start by layering it lightly then apply a little more at the lash line so the shadow is a bit darker there. it helps boots your lashes. then take a small flat brush, dip in water as much as needed, wipe over a dark shade of eyeshadow, then apply like liner.
use mascar, blush, and lip color and you`re done!

Clinton Kelly-

"Your clothes tell people the way you want to be treated."
The truest statement about fashion there is. A reason to keep up on trends, create your own style. Without style what would people think? Of coarse, you might be thinking "Well I don`t care what anyone thinks about me." I think it is important to care. You don`t go anywhere in life without the help of someone else; a boss, a boyfriend, anyone you`re trying to impress professionally. Just think about it this way, two girls, similar talents and skills, but one is wearing a nice dress, hair done, and heels while the other is in a tee shirt, messy hair, and jeans. One looks screams unprofessional, not put together, and "I do not take care of myself," while the other says "I`m ready for anything, you keep up with the latest (what business isn`t looking for the newest thing?), and that you care about what others (customers) will think. What about boys? I think that is simple enough. Of coarse they will get to know your personality but will they approach you in a sloppy outfit? First impressions are always happening, so who knows who you will have to impress unexpectedly.
Looks show our personality and how we want to be percieved. A business woman dresses to be a profesionsal, an artist wears quirky styles to show their creativity, an athlete dresses to show their pride and their passions. This applies also to the dark side of fashion; the hoes dress skimpy to get guys, the older dress too young for their age, the insecure wear distracting clothes to take the attention off themselves.

You are the only one that can move yourself ahead, no one else. Whether we like it or not, care or not; your style reflects who you are and it rubs off on other people. To be that powerful, confident, put together woman we must go out and show it.

Basic when you go back (to school)

Yays! Fashion / Makeup Question #1 (:

Question #1. What are some nice tops to wear with jeggings and boots or flats? (School appropriate)
http://www.polyvore.com/style_with_jeggings/set?id=34986813
^^here are some of my suggestions. You could pretty much put anything with them but I think that baggier or looser fitting shirts would look best. Tight shirts might make the style look too tight, but you could probably still make it work! Ohhh and on that link, I didn`t look at prices on specific shirts, I just chose them for the look :3

Question #2. What are some good drug store brushes? And which ones should you have?
This depends on how in depth you go with your make-up routine. I usually do more detailed eyes but only use the regular spongey tips and a small flat brush so really not much is needed. I would just suggest getting a small rounded brush for eyeshadow and a thin liner brush for detail/liner. Also a trick is to dip your brush is water first for a more paint-like application process. (I find it easier to get saturated color and define colors that way). Prices really depend on the quality. As you guessed, the higher price the better it will apply the make up but cheap ones work fine for many people!

Question #3. Any good nail colors for fall?
After researching some of the new products online and seeing some of the new nail trends on models or on the street; light pastel blue, shimery grayish purples, dark gray/brown, and peachy colors are painting the hottest nails nowadays. (:

Success!

My inspiration photo has been feature on Chictopia for the past few days!
Would there ever be an excuse for me to wear this? Probably not but I would find a reason if I had this amazing outfit!

Why do we think this way?

I`m going to talk about the five biggest mistakes I see kids at my school constantly making and relying on. Numerous times I have passes people in the hallway or out in the city and have seen them making these mistakes. Now I`m not saying that doing this every once and a while isn`t okay or that these trends look bad on you, but I`ve came to the conclusion that some people think this looks good when they do it all the time.

Number One.
NATURAL OR PULLED UP HAIR.
Good looking natural hair is great. You wake up, brush it, and go. But not everyone is blessed with that so you put it up in a bun everyday. Why? Because you are lazy.
Hair is a girls holy grail of their style. Not only is it an accessory and defining style, but its your body too. Treat it as a temple. No shirt, dress, or high heels can make up for a drab, plain, "I wake up late....everyday" hairstyle.
Every type of hair has a easy fix for its type.
Straight hair? A quality straightener or blow dryer can make a pin straight style in minutes.
Curly hair? Curl cream or a diffuser will save your strands.
Wavy hair? Smoothing cream, and you`re done!
And we can`t forget about a cute updo! Youtube videos, bobby pins, spin pins, braids? There are many possibilites other than a plain old bun.

Number Two.
SWEAT PANTS/SHIRTS AND TEE SHIRTS.
Do I even have to explain why wearing this everyday is a crime in itself? Let`s try fit.
A trash bag might show off your body more than this style. Just look that them. What do you think they were made for? Athletes that need lots of room for sports; hence the "sweat" in sweatpants. And last time I checked, sweat isn`t classy or beautiful when you`re not exercizing so neither is your baggy, old sweatsuit.
And NO ONE can ever use the excuse that they`re uncomfortable with their body to wear fitted clothes. Sweat clothes and tee shirts just hide and UNFLATTER your body even more. They make you look bigger and lumpy; one figure no one wants.
Trust me, you can flatter any type of body!
And to be blunt, this constant style says sloppy, lazy, and unkept. Seriously? Hobo-chic or Classy, Sassy, Heels, Jeans, and a Nice Blouse?

Number Three.
LEGGINGS AS PANTS.
They are called leggins for a reason. They aren`t pants. You might as well spray paint your legs black. Do you know the feeling you get when someone that is bigger wears a way too tight shirt? I get the same feeling when you wear leggings. Your butt cheeks hang out, your panty line shows how trashy you can be, and my favorite is the wonderful camel toe you`ll sport. Next time you wear them, just remember we can see it allllll jiggling and maybe you will put on some nice bottoms.

Number Four.
MATCHING COLORED SHIRT AND BOTTOMS.
You know that lovely PINK brand sweat clothes that are just so comfy and great!? Yeah we`ll not only do they make you round and lumpy like a fruit, but also the color of fruit. You wouldn`t wear a green shirt and green jeans because it`s too much green, so are sweat clothes an excuse? No.

Number Five.
UGGS.
Brown marshmellow shoes. No style. And again, lazy. There are plenty of comfortable and fashionable shoes out there. Excuse? No. I have a 4.0, I dance, am an editor in yearbook, I sing, I act, I eat, I work, I DO IT ALL IN HEELS.

Rememeber, Beauty and Frumpy are both easy. Only beauty will get you farther.
